WHAT MAKES OUR BANDS
UNIQUE?
EAR SAFETY
Did you know that extended exposure to loud environments can cause permanent hearing damage? That's why we run our band rehearsals using top-of-the line in-ear monitoring systems so volume levels stay within a safe range for our students, band members can adjust their individual mixes as needed, and communication can flow smoothly during each and every rehearsal.
COMPREHENSIVE AUDITIONS
Our student band members go through in-depth auditions each semester to ensure that every student is committed, has put in the proper time and energy on their instrument, and has the motivation to support and succeed with their band members all semester long!
REAL GIGS
We make it a priority to prepare our students for a realistic career in the music industry, and the best way to do that is to incorporate live gigs (dependent on tier) into our student band semesters. Our student bands have performed in front of real audiences all over Nashville and its surrounding areas, and we're always on the lookout for more opportunities!
ABOVE & BEYOND PERKS
While each student band semester covers all the ins and outs of preparing and performing music as a group, we don't just stop there! Depending on tier, our 16-week band semesters also feature an assortment of Above & Beyond Perks, including an in-depth look at demo recording, music video production, photoshoot 101, and stage blocking, plus some tips and tricks from our music industry contacts about life on the road.

TIER 1
$125/month
Tier 1 students attend one 90-minute rehearsal led by their band mentor each week during our band semesters. Placing into Tier 1 guarantees band members unique Above & Beyond Perks, a 5-minute Recital Spotlight set, as well as a 15-minute set at our Student Band Showcase. Tier 1 students also receive three 30-minute private mentorship lessons with their band mentor.

TIER 2
$155/month
Tier 2 students attend one 90-minute rehearsal led by their band mentor each week during our band semesters. Placing into Tier 2 guarantees band members unique Above & Beyond Perks, a 5-minute Recital Spotlight set, as well as a 20-minute set at our Student Band Showcase. Tier 2 students also receive three 30-minute private mentorship lessons with their band mentor.

TIER 3
$185/month
Tier 3 students attend one 90-minute rehearsal led by their band mentor each week during our band semesters. Placing into Tier 3 guarantees band members unique Above & Beyond Perks, a 5-minute Recital Spotlight set, a 25-minute set at our Student Band Showcase, and the eligibility for extra gigs. Tier 3 students also receive three 30-minute private mentorship lessons with their band mentor.
STEP 3:
PLAN THEIR SEMESTER
SPRING SEMESTER
January-May
Auditions for our 16-week Spring semester occur in January, with audition materials released 8 weeks in advance. Depending on audition results, students may be placed in Tiers 1, 2, or 3 with band members of the same caliber and musical interests.
