WHAT MAKES OUR BANDS
UNIQUE?

EAR SAFETY

Did you know that extended exposure to loud environments can cause permanent hearing damage? That's why we run our band rehearsals using top-of-the line in-ear monitoring systems so volume levels stay within a safe range for our students, band members can adjust their individual mixes as needed, and communication can flow smoothly during each and every rehearsal.

COMPREHENSIVE AUDITIONS

Our student band members go through in-depth auditions each semester to ensure that every student is committed, has put in the proper time and energy on their instrument, and has the motivation to support and succeed with their band members all semester long!

REAL GIGS

We make it a priority to prepare our students for a realistic career in the music industry, and the best way to do that is to incorporate live gigs into our student band semesters. Our student bands have performed in front of real audiences all over Nashville and its surrounding areas, and we're always on the lookout for more opportunities!

ABOVE & BEYOND PERKS

While each student band semester covers all the ins and outs of preparing and performing music as a group, we don't just stop there! Depending on tier, our 16-week band semesters also feature an assortment of Above & Beyond Perks, including an in-depth look at demo recording, music video production, photoshoot styles, band songwriting, and stage choreography, plus some tips and tricks from our music industry contacts about life on the road.

STUDENT BAND LOUNGE

Parents, we know that getting your student to all of their after school activities can be challenging. That's why our student band lounge is always open during business hours! This gives students a safe and reliable space to relax in between lessons, work on homework, fuel up before rehearsals, and catch up with their band members so you don't have to rush from one activity to the next.

STEP 2:
CHOOSE YOUR TIER

INTRO TO BAND

$125/month

Our Intro to Band classes allow students to learn rehearsal fundamentals before placing into Tiers 1-3. These weekly 60-minute classes follow the 16-week format of Tiers 1-3 and are taught by one or more LMA band mentor.

TIER 1

$145/month

Tier 1 students attend one 60-minute rehearsal led by their band mentor each week during our band semesters. Placing into Tier 1 guarantees band members access to the Student Band Lounge, unique Above & Beyond Perks, a 5-minute Recital Spotlight set, as well as a 15-minute set at our Student Band Showcase. Tier 1 students also receive three 30-minute private mentorship lessons with their band mentor.

TIER 2

$195/month

Tier 2 students attend one 90-minute rehearsal led by their band mentor each week during our band semesters. Placing into Tier 2 guarantees band members access to the Student Band Lounge, unique Above & Beyond Perks, a 5-minute Recital Spotlight set, a 20-minute set at our Student Band Showcase, and the opportunity for extra gigs. Tier 2 students also receive three 30-minute private mentorship lessons with their band mentor.

TIER 3

$245/month

Tier 3 students attend one 120-minute rehearsal led by their band mentor each week during our band semesters. Placing into Tier 3 guarantees band members access to the Student Band Lounge, unique Above & Beyond Perks, a 5-minute Recital Spotlight set, a 30-minute set at our Student Band Showcase, the opportunity for extra gigs, and the freedom to create and perform original music. Tier 3 students also receive three 30-minute private mentorship lessons with their band mentor.

STEP 3:
CHOOSE YOUR SEMESTER

SPRING SEMESTER

January-May

Tuition Dependent on Tier

Auditions for our 16-week Spring semester occur in January, with audition materials released 8 weeks in advance. Depending on audition results, students may be placed in Intro to Band or Tiers 1-3 with band members of the same caliber and musical interests. The goal of our Spring semester is for students to study their pre-selected music in an academic setting, fine-tune their stage presence, learn from music industry experts, and to ultimately perform professionally both on stage and through digital media for their friends and family.

FALL SEMESTER

August-December
