Arianna
Hume
Arianna earned her degree in Commercial Voice & Music Technology from Belmont University. As a professional musician, her vocals have been featured in international music catalogs and commercials, national TV series on FOX, USA and Amazon Freevee, and singles with over 4M streams. Outside of the studio she can be found performing live with corporate and original bands all across the southeast.

Ryan
Casey
Ryan has been cultivating his craft as a musician since first picking up the guitar at age 9. Now, with a degree in Commercial Guitar from Belmont University, he has over a decade of experience in live performance, studio recording, and private music education. Ryan's goal in lessons is to provide each of his students with a well-rounded and comprehensive knowledge of not just their instrument, but music-making and playing in general.

Emma
Turner
Native to Indiana, Emma moved to Nashville in the summer of 2024 to broaden her horizons and cultivate her zeal for music. She began to teach herself to sing and play piano from a very young age, and continued to hone her skills in voice, piano, guitar, bass guitar, ukulele, and composition. With an extensive background in teaching, music experience, and ongoing study in Music Therapy at Austin Peay State University, Emma is ecstatic to share her passion and knowledge with the students at Liberty Music Academy.

Sunshine
Scott
Sunshine is a DIY artist from Nashville, Tennessee, who earned her degree in Music Industry from Middle Tennessee University with an emphasis in Voice. As an active musician, Sunshine has accumulated over 15 million views on social media, highlighting her talents, and has appeared on American Idol. Sunshine not only writes and produces her own music, but she also designs and customizes her own stage costumes as well as directs, stars in, and produces her music videos and photoshoots. As an educator trained in vocal styles from opera to pop, it is Sunshine’s mission to teach aspiring artists that if they have a passion, the sky is the limit.

Colin
Hanus
Since beginning drum lessons at 4 and guitar lessons at 7, music has always been a passion for Colin. He founded and led a rock band at age 10, playing 130+ gigs around Northern Illinois through high school. He released his debut album at age 12, in which he played all the instruments and co-produced alongside the Grammy Award-winning producer for Fall Out Boy. As a 2023 Commercial Music graduate from Belmont University, Colin’s musical journey continues to evolve today. He relishes the opportunity to share his passion and knowledge with students wishing to embark on their own musical adventure.

Brad
Longfellow
With a degree in Music Education from the University of Southern Maine, Brad has a diverse teaching background including a six-month internship at the British School of Bahrain in the Middle East and ten years of private and group ensemble instruction at the 317 Main Community Music Center in Yarmouth, ME. Aside from directing at several churches and performing with the Portland Symphony, Brad has also recorded and arranged piano with Vineyard Music, Anchour Studio, and Kingdom Life Church, and continues to study writing and production today in Nashville.

Cole
Clarke
Cole is a musician and songwriter with a degree in Commercial Music from Belmont University, where he performed as a guitarist in the school’s prestigious Jazz Band 1 and Small Group 1 ensembles. Since moving to Nashville he has performed with artists in styles including jazz/fusion, rock, pop, gospel and R&B. He has a passion for teaching students to develop a deep relationship with music, providing them with skills that will serve their musicianship for a lifetime.

Johnny Snell-Callanen
Johnny is a Nashville-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter, composer, and producer with a Bachelor’s degree in Guitar Performance from the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. He has performed live with numerous singer-songwriters and bands and has also worked as an assistant to a prominent TV composer in Los Angeles. With over a decade of experience teaching private and group lessons across multiple instruments, Johnny is dedicated to creating a fun and engaging learning environment while tailoring each lesson to each student’s individual goals and learning style.

Jacob
Lenz
Since entering the world of classical music at the age of 4, Jacob has found himself increasingly influenced by the sounds of soul, jazz, and R&B in voice, guitar, piano, and bass. While earning his BM in Commercial Music at Anderson University, he performed in over 50 concerts across 13 different ensembles, experiences that helped pave the way to notable stages including Columbus’ Bill Heard Theater, Atlanta’s Fox Theatre, and Carnegie Hall. Since graduation, he has continued his career in music as a singer-songwriter, composer, arranger, conductor, and multi-instrumentalist. As an instructor, Jacob strives to foster the same confidence, care, and growth that he has been afforded by his favorite teachers throughout his career.

Jeff
Buchanan
Jeff Buchanan earned his bachelor’s degree from Berklee College of Music in Guitar Performance and Film Scoring in 2019, and his master’s degree from Belmont University in Commercial Performance in 2024. In recent years, Jeff has made a name for himself as a fingerstyle guitarist through his unique arrangements of classical & original songs, garnering attention from big-name bands such as The All-American Rejects and Rise Against. Jeff released his debut album, Aardvark, in 2024 which features a mixture of original solo guitar pieces and arrangements.

Reeve
Johnson
Reeve is a Nashville-based pianist, bassist, and songwriter originally from Omaha, Nebraska. He started playing piano at the age of 6, and since then has picked up multiple instruments, playing everything from jazz to rock to classical. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Jazz Piano Performance from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where he had the opportunity to share the stage with jazz legends including Benny Golson, & Stefon Harris. In addition to his years of teaching experience, Reeve is also an active performer, having shared the stage with UK blues act When Rivers Meet and JUNO award winning artist Dawn Tyler Watson.

Heather
Brockell
Heather is a multi-instrumentalist, singer/songwriter, producer and recording artist originally from Minot, North Dakota. She began taking piano lessons at the age of 3 and grew up playing all kinds of music in her childhood home. She started her career as a figure skater, singer and emcee in professional ice shows before committing herself to becoming a full-time songwriter and artist. In 2021, she began teaching piano lessons and fell in love with being able to share one of her biggest passions. Heather takes a tailored approach with each of her students and teaches everything from music theory to healthy practice habits to stage presence. She focuses on a well-rounded music education that will help each student achieve their goals.

Doug
Sutton
Growing up in Cincinnati, Doug graduated from The College-Conservatory of Music and has since been involved in various teaching positions within the University of Cincinnati as well as privately owned local music schools. Doug is a Bachelors-educated Piano, Drum, and Guitar tutor with over 10 years of experience offering instrument and music theory lessons. He specializes in personalized learning, focusing on everything from chord theory, to ear training, improvisation, and essential music reading skills for all three instruments. Doug's goal in lessons is to help students of all ages discover their love for music and instruments with fun and effective lessons designed just for you!

Utilizing his Bachelor of Music from Belmont University, Ian specializes in commercial piano performance, film composition, and music production. With over a decade of experience on stages and screens across the country, Ian believes there is no greater feeling than performing. Hoping to share the experience that is music, Ian strives to teach his students to never stop learning, always have fun, and to challenge themselves wherever they can.

Eitel
Sarah is a multi-instrumentalist who has been playing live music in the Nashville area for over a decade. She holds a Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in jazz guitar studies from Middle Tennessee State University. Sarah believes that learning is an adventure. She loves studying new techniques and incorporating them into her playing, and she aims to inspire others to embark on their own musical journey.
